Awareness, change, and creative thought

The world is what we perceive of it— to change our lives, we only need to change our minds. Perceptions will change, senses will attune to the new and though the outside life may look the same to an outside perspective, your inner experience will tell you the true story.

What we say, to ourselves and to others, reflects what we think, which in turn reflects what we believe.

Much of what we believe is reflected in the people closest to us— our skin, our minds are permeable, we share energy as we share language, time, and thoughts. Shared thinking is increasingly shared: the internet works like a world wide neocortex, uploaded and updated with shared thoughts.

And so we yearn for creativity, for truly original thought, which comes from both freedom and interconnectivity.

The freedom does not have to be isolation, just as to be alone does not require feeling lonely. Interconnectivity does not mean to be dependent: freedom requires independence. Consider connection at every level: within yourself, first and foremost. And from that center point, you are connected with people, plants, places, purpose.

When we lose connection, our center point, or our freedom, we experience a regression to the mean.

The regression is a falling backwards from our higher potential, a drop in energy that brings us into a position of normalization, standardization, towards the average, the mean, the memes that can fill a mind and prevent individual, original thinking.

To elevate our own potential, and lift the average so that all those around us feel inspired and enabled to elevate themselves, we need only to be aware. Aware of yourself: capabilities, visions. Know the feel of gravity: the centripetal pull towards the center of the largest energies around you. And know what rises away from the heavy pull of gravity: what is levity, what is potential energy, what could you create if only.
